Melania Trump has found herself in the middle of another legal storm this time involving journalist and author Michael Wolff, who has filed a lawsuit accusing the First Lady of trying to stop the release of his upcoming tell-all book.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Wolff claims Melania Trump “deliberately and maliciously interfered” with his publishing contract and defamed him over his soon-to-be-released book titled The Art of Her Deal: The Untold Story of Melania Trump (Redux).

The Melania Trump lawsuit alleges that the former First Lady and her team launched a campaign to discredit Wolff by spreading false claims that he fabricated interviews, intimidated sources, and “manufactured lies for profit.”

These statements, according to Wolff, scared off international distributors and cost him a multi-million-dollar publishing deal.

Moreover, Wolff insists he has evidence proving Melania personally directed a PR firm to contact major media outlets, warning them of potential legal action if they covered or promoted his book.

He describes this as a “calculated campaign to destroy his reputation and livelihood.”

As part of the court filing, Wolff included a letter from Melania’s legal team demanding that he retract and apologize for comments he made to The Daily Beast, where he linked her to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

In the interview, Wolff alleged that Melania was “very involved” in the Epstein saga and implied she could be a “key connection” to Donald Trump’s alleged ties with the disgraced financier.

Melania’s attorneys swiftly denied the accusations, branding them “false and defamatory.”

Furthermore, Wolff is seeking a court declaration stating that the content of his book is not defamatory and requesting damages if Melania Trump continues any actions aimed at blocking publication or intimidating distributors.

Representatives for Melania Trump have not yet responded to media inquiries regarding the lawsuit.
