Popular Nigerian music star Tiwa Savage has stunned fans with a personal confession about her private life.
Speaking on a podcast, the Afrobeats queen revealed that she has not had sex for over three years.
The disclosure came during a candid conversation about love and intimacy.
One of the hosts asked her when she realised she wanted to love again.
In response, the 45-year-old said she loves her son, her team, and her friends, but explained that romance has not been part of her life in recent years.
When pressed further, a male host jokingly mentioned “Pen*s,” to which Tiwa Savage laughed and admitted, “I have stayed for over three years without having sex and also have no sex toys.”
She stressed that intimacy is not something she is “crazy about” at this stage of her life.
Her revelation shocked one of the podcast hosts, a lady, who asked in disbelief, “Wait, 365 days times 3?” Tiwa Savage replied, “Yes.”
She clarified her point further, saying she must be in love with someone before sex becomes important.
The singer even joked that people should “gift her some sex toys as a Christmas present,” leaving the studio in laughter.
Meanwhile, the confession has sparked mixed reactions on social media.

The singer has now clarified that the release was accidental.
In her words, “He said he tried to save it but then accidentally pressed send on Snapchat. But then I later found out that it was a bet he set with his friend.”
She added that the man in the clip was not younger than her, dismissing speculation about their age difference.
Furthermore, Tiwa Savage expressed her intent to be more careful with future relationships.
