The heartbreaking news was confirmed by All Elite Wrestling (AEW), just three weeks after Sabu competed in his retirement match.
His final match took place on April 18.

Born Terry Brunk, the wrestling legend began his journey in the mid-1980s.
He was trained by his uncle, Edward “The Sheik” Farhat, who himself was a respected figure in the wrestling world.

His rise to fame came in 1991, when he joined Frontier Martial-Arts Wrestling.
Moreover, his most iconic work came during his time with Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), where he became a household name.
He also competed in World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and had a run with WWE between 2006 and 2007.
