Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy disclosed that Russia has used over 1,250 aerial bombs, 750 attack drones, and 20 missiles against Ukraine within the past week.

“Only determination can stop such terrorists. We are constantly working with our partners to strengthen our defence capabilities and to reduce Russia’s ability to terrorize Ukraine. Long-range capabilities are crucial,” Zelenskiy stated.

He further emphasized the importance of sanctions and lowering oil prices, urging unity among global allies to “act in unity and protect lives with resolve.”

Meanwhile, Ukraine’s general staff confirmed an attack on Russia’s Ryazan Oil Refinery, one of the country’s four largest refineries.

Explosions and fires were reported in the area following the strike, with Kyiv describing the refinery as a strategic target.

“The Ryazan Oil Refinery is one of the four largest refineries in the Russian Federation,” the military noted on Telegram.

This relentless cycle of drone strikes and counterattacks has underscored the need for urgent action to de-escalate the conflict.

Innocent lives remain at risk, and international efforts to find a resolution are more critical than ever.
