Controversial singer and internet personality, Speed Darlington, has alleged that he survived a gunshot attack early this morning, January 27, in Victoria Island, Lagos.
The incident occurred shortly after he left a club in the area, leaving his car damaged.
In a video shared on his Instagram page, Speed Darlington displayed the dents on his car caused by the bullets.

Initially unaware of the attack, he said he and his driver only realized what had happened after the assailants fled.
“There must be truth in what I am saying,” he stated, linking the incident to ongoing tensions between him and his colleague, Burna Boy. In his caption, he questioned the necessity of the attack, writing, “Broooooo!! Is this necessary? You try to take my life…really?”
The singer, known for his outspoken nature, has recently been involved in a public feud with Burna Boy.
His post drew reactions from fans and critics alike, with many advising him to tread cautiously.

A follower commented, “Truthfully, just let this matter die.
Believe me, the people cheering you on now…when real matters arise, they will back down.” Others urged him to avoid further confrontations to ensure his safety.
This alarming incident has sparked concerns about the risks associated with online feuds and public confrontations.

While it remains unclear who was behind the attack, Speed Darlington has been advised to remain vigilant, and avoid escalating tensions.
