“You’ve Been Captured… My Heart Bleeds” — Charles Idibia Blames Natasha for 2Face’s Struggles

Charles Idibia, the younger brother of Nigerian music legend 2Face (2Baba), has called out his brother in a heartfelt online message.

He accused 2Baba’s partner, Natasha, of emotionally controlling and isolating the singer, while urging him to take a break and reflect.

The passionate plea has sparked widespread reactions, as many fans express concern over the singer’s well-being and personal struggles.

The outburst followed 2Baba’s public apology after making a controversial statement on Nedu Wazobia’s podcast, where he said, “men aren’t naturally wired to remain sexually loyal to one woman.”

The comment drew serious backlash and led the 49-year-old artist to post a video apologizing.

“I know I have fucked up with what I have said. I really, really fucked up the way I said it. I’m going to pay with a heavy price. I’m going to face the consequences… I’m sorry to my wife Natasha,” he said. “Calling me a legend is an honor, but this my talk is quite unlegendly.”

In reaction, Charles posted a lengthy note on Instagram on July 2, 2025. His words reflect deep worry and disappointment over what he believes is a loss of self by his brother.

“You have been captured, captured from inside the frying pan to an industrial furnace… so my heart bleeds,” Charles wrote.

He claimed Natasha now has full control of 2Baba’s life accessing his phones, reading and deleting messages, and even posing as him online.

“A girlfriend who breaks into your phone to announce your divorce because she had doubts… Who posts and deletes a picture of herself on your socials… who clones your WhatsApp and replies pretending to be you… is not a girlfriend,” Charles insisted.

Furthermore, he described Natasha as a “psychotic fan” and “cancerous leech,” stressing that her actions go beyond normal relationship behavior.

“A girlfriend who makes you eat your words from a podcast just because you didn’t mention her name… is a psychotic fan… You are in one of those Love, Passion & Murder episodes you enjoy watching, and the victim is going to be you.”

The younger Idibia urged his brother to take time off from the spotlight for the sake of his children and mental health.

“Take a couple of months off ALONE, get completely off social media and let the music and businesses wait… In the names of your 7 lovely kids… This is that time, before it gets too late… a time to become the real you again… this isn’t you.”

Meanwhile, the situation has stirred a mix of reactions online, with many sympathizing with the music icon and calling for healing within the Idibia family.

Some commenters noted that the emotional strain could be tied to long-standing pressures of fame and personal decisions.
