War Shock Deepens as Netanyahu Claims Iran Is ‘Decimated’

Tensions in the Middle East have taken a surprising turn as the Iran-Israel war escalation continues to shake global stability.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made a bold claim on Thursday, March 19, stating that Iran’s strength has been significantly reduced.

According to him, the country is no longer functioning at full capacity. Moreover, concerns about leadership confusion in Tehran have added a new layer of uncertainty to the conflict.

Speaking at a press conference, Netanyahu emphasized Israel’s position and praised support from the United States.

He stated clearly, “We are winning and Iran is being decimated,” while pointing to strong coordination with U.S. President Donald Trump.

However, he did not provide a clear timeline for when the war might end.

Furthermore, Netanyahu suggested that internal cracks may be forming within Iran’s leadership.

He referenced Mojtaba Khamenei, raising doubts about who is currently in control. This claim has not been independently confirmed, but it has intensified global speculation.

Meanwhile, the humanitarian impact has continued to grow. In Lebanon, over 1,000 casualties have been reported following Israeli airstrikes.

Several areas, including parts of Beirut, have been heavily affected. In addition, critical infrastructure has been damaged, raising fears about long-term consequences.

In response, the European Union called for restraint. The bloc urged all sides to stop attacks on essential services like energy and water systems.

Iran, however, has issued a strong warning. Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that there would be “zero restraint” if further attacks occur. He also warned of “complete destruction” targeting Gulf energy infrastructure if the situation worsens.
