TikTok Star Peller Reveals: “I Don’t Like Seeing My Family Anymore”

Popular TikTok star and content creator, Peller, has finally opened up on why he no longer enjoys being around his family, a topic that has long sparked curiosity among his followers.

During a live session with fellow streamer Sandra Benede, Peller shared personal truths about the pressure that comes with being the breadwinner in a Nigerian family.

Although he clarified that he still takes good care of his parents and loved ones, he explained that mentally, he had grown apart from them.

In his words, “I no like to the see my family again. I dey send them things to make sure say them dey okay, because my mentality now don pass to dey stay with my parents.”

This statement, although heavy, was not born out of hate. Instead, it revealed how emotionally and mentally demanding it can be when one becomes the main provider for a whole household.

Moreover, Peller added that he often feels like a parent to his parents, stating, “My thinking now don pass their own thinking, e come be like say na me be their father and mother.”

The reality of being responsible for multiple family members, especially financially, appears to have taken a toll on the content creator.

He revealed that even though he has an older sibling, the financial burden still rests largely on him.

“I no dey rest. If no be say them go dey find person, I for don run go America go find some place go dey stay inside,” he added, highlighting his desire for peace and mental space.

This heartfelt confession from Peller has stirred reactions online, especially among those who relate to the burden of being the sole support system in their families.

He continued, “The society might betray you, but your family won’t o. My own take sha.”
