Nigerian TikTok star Habeeb “Peller” Hamzat has dropped out of Caleb University. The decision came only days after he resumed academic activities.
However, a viral voice note has now explained his sudden change of heart. The clip has continued to trend across social media platforms.
According to Peller, the traditional classroom system felt frustrating. He questioned the value of sitting through long lectures. Moreover, he compared it with his fast-growing content creation career.
In the viral voice note, Peller expressed his frustration clearly. He complained about spending long hours in class without earning money. The streamer said the routine felt unproductive to him.
“I will now sit inside class for like seven hours and be writing and looking? And play play not making anything? God forbid,” he said. Many listeners described the statement as blunt but honest.
Furthermore, Peller suggested that his time was better spent creating content. He implied that lectures slowed him down financially.

Therefore, school no longer aligned with his current lifestyle.
Another reason behind the decision was his discomfort in class. Peller joked about the age difference between himself and other students. He said the environment made him feel out of place.
“When I entered the school I see that everybody is old, so me too I need to get old like 30 or 40 years before I go,” he said.
Meanwhile, social media reactions have remained mixed. Some users praised Peller for choosing financial independence. Others criticised the move, urging balance between education and fame.
It is still unclear if Peller has officially withdrawn. Sources say he may have simply stopped attending lectures. Caleb University has not released any statement on the matter.
