It was gathered that a section under construction ahead of the National Sports Festival at the Stephen Keshi International Stadium located at Asaba, the Delta State crumbled which unfortunately killed three persons.
The Festival was to hold this year and has been recently inspected by the Minister of Sports and Youths Development, Sunday Dare. The details due to the collapse is still ongoing but it was learnt that it would not be unconnected to the rush of the construction to meet the deadline for delivery of the project for use.
