Nigerian hip-hop artiste, Habeeb Okikiola, known as Portable, on Wednesday , advocated Governor Gboyega Oyetola ahead of the July 18, 2022 governorship election in Osun State and 2023 All Progressives Congress (APC), presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
While the ‘ZAZU’ crooner endorsed Oyetola’s reelection bid, the singer also asked Nigerians to vote for the party’s presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, during next year’s presidential election.This was in a video he posted on his Instagram page , urging his fans in Osun to vote for the governor, who was sitting beside him.
In a Yoruba language, Portable said, “4+4, Akoi Oyetola, my father is here.”He also added, “Nigerians you all should agree for Tinubu, so everything can go well”. He said as the singer was also seen showing off money allegedly given to him after visiting the governor. 
However , reactions from the ‘Green and white’ citizens was expressed towards the post on Wednesday, on the microblogging site, Twitter, alleged that the governor was giving out taxpayers’ money to in his “desperate bid” to be reelected.
