A female Inspector under Ode Omu division,Osun State in a video had accused a male officer named Ajayi Matthew as she mentioned over alleged assault on Wednesday.
In the video,she claimed that the said Ajayi Matthew asked her out but she declined the offer because she’s married. After several efforts from the male officer in order to befriend her which went void ,she stated that he began to ‘blackmail’ her thereafter, assaulting her in a way of beating her mercilessly and stripped her naked .
This led to tons of bruises on her chest and arms . She also added that the uncalled act was done in the presence of two constables and some civilians who told her to flee but she refused with a response of commiting no offense. 
As a result of this development ,The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, has however directed the Commissioner of Police, Osun State, CP Olaleye Faleye, to investigate the alleged assault on woman Inspector Olorunsogo Bamidele by her DCO in Ode Omu Osun State.
In a statement signed by Force PRO ,Muyiwa Adejobi under the Federal Headquarters in Abuja,he assured that justice will be done in the case and await the Osun Police report before any further actions .
“We will await the report of the investigation from Osun State Police Command before necessary actions are taken. However we assure the general public that justice will be done in the case, to protect the core values and ethics of the NPF. ” he stated .
