The management of Nigerian dancer Poco Lee has spoken publicly about the sexual assault case involving the entertainer in the UK.
The statement comes amid growing attention surrounding the case and claims circulating across social media.
Poco Lee’s management urged the public to avoid treating the allegations as proven facts while court proceedings continue.
The team confirmed that the matter is currently before a UK court. It also stressed that the entertainer has not been convicted.
“Allegations are not evidence of guilt, and no conclusions should be drawn until the matter has been heard and determined through the appropriate legal process,” the statement said.
The management also responded to online claims involving alleged drink-spiking. It said such details are not part of the allegations before the court.
“We ask the public and media to desist from introducing details that are not part of the actual case, as doing so only fuels misinformation and causes unfair prejudice to all parties involved,” the statement added.
Reports about Poco Lee’s arrest in the UK surfaced on August 19. However, several details about the case remain unclear publicly.
Separately, Nigerian rapper Ms Jorji made allegations against Poco Lee in videos shared online. She claimed he attempted to sexually assault her and her girlfriend.
Her claims have not been independently proven. There is also no established link between those claims and the UK case.
Poco Lee, whose real name is Iweh Pascal Odinaka, became widely known through his dance performances.
He later expanded his career into music and entertainment. The Poco Lee UK case remains subject to the legal process. His management said further updates would come through official channels.
The team also appealed for patience and restraint as the proceedings continue.
