Senator Ned Nwoko has raised serious concerns about his wife, Regina Daniels, alleging that the actress has been battling drug and alcohol addiction, which he claims has led to violent behavior at home.
In a lengthy statement shared on his official X (formerly Twitter) account, the senator revealed that recent incidents in their home have left several staff injured and property damaged.
According to him, Regina allegedly “slapped and hit three staff members, destroyed vehicles, broke windows, and caused chaos” while he was away.
Nwoko stated that the situation has become increasingly alarming, linking the outbursts to what he described as her “ongoing struggles with substance abuse.” He claimed.
“Regina was offered a clear path toward rehabilitation either in Asokoro or abroad, including Jordan, where access to drugs would be restricted,” he wrote.
However, he alleged that she refused all intervention plans and even threatened a resident nurse who reportedly exposed her drug use.
In the statement, Ned Nwoko further alleged that Regina’s drug suppliers are within her close circle.
He named her brother, Sammy, as the main supplier and identified another person, known only as Ann, as an accomplice.
“Without proper rehabilitation, I genuinely fear for Regina’s life and safety,” the senator stated.
He also emphasised that none of his other wives have accused him of domestic violence, suggesting that the ongoing turmoil is “isolated to Regina’s behavior.”
The revelation comes just days after viral reports alleged that Ned Nwoko had assaulted Regina Daniels.
However, his statement appears to counter those claims, placing the blame on Regina’s alleged personal struggles instead.
Moreover, the senator’s post has stirred a mix of reactions from fans and the public.
Nwoko reiterated that the door remains open for Regina to seek treatment and recover fully.
He expressed hope that the actress, who is also the founder of Regina Daniels Foundation, would take the opportunity to prioritise her health and well-being.
Meanwhile, Regina Daniels has not yet responded publicly to her husband’s claims.
