The Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress in Kogi State, Yakubu Ajaka, now known as a rare philanthropist has made a donation of ten million naira relief fund to flood victims in Ibaji.
The donation came following recent outburst of lament from several victims in the area who had been badly affected by the natural disaster.Yakubu appreciated the Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, for his efforts in ensuring that the devastating effects of the flood in the state was curtailed to the barest minimum.
The APC staunch gave an addition , stating that well meaning individuals must also make tangible effort to complement such strides, also urging philanthropists and organisations to do same outside the government’s efforts to offer relief to citizens in such trying times.
Over a week ago,Ibaji was marked as one of the worst hit area by the ravaging flood, after the opening of Lagdo Dam in Cameroon.
