Joseph Aloba, the father of the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has reaffirmed his commitment to seeking justice for his son’s death.
In a recent interview, he disclosed his intention to sue his daughter-in-law, Wunmi Aloba, even if a DNA test confirms that her son, Liam, is truly Mohbad’s child.
During the interview with Agbaletu TV, Aloba expressed concerns about Wunmi’s actions following Mohbad’s passing.
He specifically criticized her decision to take their five-month-old son to public events where there were smokers.
He stated, “Even if DNA proves that Liam is my grandson, I will sue her because how can she be taking a five-month-old boy to shows where there are lots of weed smokers? Recently, I saw that they took him to Ibadan.”

Furthermore, Aloba made serious allegations against Wunmi, claiming that Mohbad had previously confided in him about her alleged infidelity.
According to him, the late singer accused his wife of drugging his food and engaging in an affair while he was under the influence.
“He told me that his wife put a drug in the Indomie she made for him. He ate it, and she went into the next room to go and sleep with someone else,” Aloba revealed.
These claims have intensified the controversy surrounding Mohbad’s sudden death, with many still demanding answers about the circumstances that led to the singer’s demise.
Amid the ongoing paternity controversy, Aloba stated that he is fully prepared for the DNA test to determine if Liam is truly his grandson.
However, he emphasized that Wunmi’s lawyer must now engage with his new legal team to facilitate the process.

Meanwhile, addressing allegations that he is only interested in Mohbad’s royalties and properties, Aloba dismissed such claims, stating that his primary concern remains uncovering the truth.
“What concerns me now is what really killed Mohbad? Is the child he left behind truly my grandson? After those two have been answered, you will not see me asking about properties anymore,” he asserted.
Nevertheless, the grieving father remains steadfast in his pursuit of justice, maintaining that all unanswered questions surrounding his son’s death must be resolved.
