Mohbad’s Father Drops Another Song as Justice Battle Deepens

Mohbad and Father

The quest for justice for Mohbad has taken a new turn as his father, Joseph Aloba, releases another song.

The track is yet another emotional appeal, urging President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to intervene in the unresolved circumstances surrounding his son’s death.

In the music video, Mr. Aloba calls on the president directly, asking for help to uncover the truth.

“I seek President Tinubu’s help to get justice for my musician son,” he declared in the heartfelt performance.

The late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, died in September 2023 at the age of 27. September 12, 2025, will mark two years since the young artist’s sudden passing in his Lagos home.

However, the cause of death remains disputed, despite official investigations.

Following Mohbad’s death, the Lagos State Government ordered both a coroner’s inquest and an autopsy.

These were meant to determine what truly happened, yet the findings have not satisfied the grieving father.

He has repeatedly stated his refusal to accept the official outcome, insisting there is “more to what killed” his son.

Moreover, Mr. Aloba has vowed not to rebury Mohbad until the cause of death is fully confirmed.

This ongoing standoff has kept the singer’s case in the public eye and intensified debates among Nigerians.
