Mrs. Victoria Chintex known as the Labour Party’s women leader ,Kaura in Kaduna State, has been shot dead by gunmen who reportedly stormed into her house on Monday night.
Edward Simon Buju, the Publicity Secretary of Labour Party, Zone 3, Kaduna State, confirmed the murder of the women leader.
Her husband was also said to have sustained injuries from shots in his leg.Victoria was described the late Chintex as an industrious, hardworking and dedicated woman who died at a time the Party and the country needed her most. 
Buju however called on the people of Kaura Local Government and the party faithful to be law abiding, urging the police to investigate the murder and bring the perpetrators of the despicable act to justice.
