Investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, has sparked mixed reactions following her controversial take on Real Warri Pikin’s pregnancy announcement.
The popular comedian, who recently revealed she is expecting her fourth child, shared radiant baby bump photos on Instagram that were warmly received by fans and followers.
However, Olunloyo took to her social media to cast doubt on the authenticity of the pregnancy reveal.
According to her, the viral photo being circulated may not be new. She claims the image could be from a previous pregnancy, linking it to a video Real Warri Pikin had posted in the past.

In her post, Olunloyo wrote: “Warri Pikin fans: Do you know what Authentication means in Journalism? Is this not a photo from the video she posted? Authentication is attached to your devices.
The date and time you captured an image or video. It’s NOT 2025. Could be when she lost the previous baby.”
Moreover, fans of the comedian have voiced their support for her, praising her openness about motherhood and personal struggles.
Meanwhile, some internet users have described Olunloyo’s remarks as insensitive, arguing that speculating about someone’s pregnancy especially following a past miscarriage is uncalled for and hurtful.
Despite the backlash, Olunloyo has not retracted her statements. She insists that the role of investigative journalism is to seek the truth, even when it’s unpopular.
Real Warri Pikin, known for her transparency on personal matters, has yet to respond directly to Olunloyo’s claims.
