Reports now suggest that the billionaire artist has taken steps to update his legal name from Ye West to Ye Ye, stirring speculation across social media.
The new claim stems from official filings made by several of Kanye’s companies, including Yeezy Apparel, Yeezy Record Label LLC, and Getting Out Our Dreams Inc.
These entities reportedly submitted a “Statement of Information” to the California Secretary of State, reflecting the new name.
Back in 2021, the rapper made headlines when he legally dropped Kanye Omari West for the simpler Ye West.
At the time, he explained the change was for “personal reasons,” a move that reflected his spiritual and artistic evolution.
However, the possible shift to Ye Ye has yet to be confirmed by the rapper himself.
