Controversial show promoter Sam Larry has released a private audio conversation with rapper Zlatan Ibile, where the artist appeared cautious but somewhat supportive regarding the bullying claims linked to the late singer Mohbad.
The leaked audio surfaced shortly after Sam Larry’s sit-down with activist Verydarkman, where he denied ever assaulting Mohbad.
During the interview, Sam Larry insisted that the public had misunderstood his role in the entire saga.

Now, with the audio clip making rounds, more light is being shed on the private conversations happening behind the scenes.
In the call, Sam Larry pleaded with Zlatan to publicly speak in his defense.
“Please, help me explain what really happened. They keep pushing this bullying narrative. It’s not true he said.
Zlatan, however, expressed clear hesitation, explaining why he had stayed away from the controversy for years.
“I am being careful; I will recommend giving a press statement. It’s been over two years since I refused to get involved in this saga. My mum and dad have warned me not to get involved; the last time I was dragged over what I said online, I was traumatised,” Zlatan responded.
Moreover, the rapper addressed the widely circulated 9-second video, which many believed showed signs of bullying.

According to Zlatan, the clip was intentionally edited to create a negative image.
“The media is very toxic; they cropped the video to push an agenda. This is why I don’t want to be involved… I know you are not like that, but I’ve been avoiding this matter to protect myself,” he explained.
Zlatan went on to highlight how much he values his family’s peace and safety, saying he keeps them away from social media for that reason.
Meanwhile, activist Verydarkman, who shared the leaked audio, has now given Zlatan 48 hours to publicly respond and clear the air once and for all.
This latest update shows how deep the ripple effect of Mohbad’s death has gone.
While some people are speaking out, others are choosing to remain silent or cautious not necessarily out of guilt, but simply to stay safe.
