The governor of Rivers State, Governor Nyesom Wike on Tuesday appealed to the people of the State not to let their guards down and to always adhere to the NDDC safety guidelines when Rivers market reopens again after a long time.
Governor Wike disclosed this on his tweeter handle on Tuesday morning 4th of August 2020.
Markets, places of worship, Hotels and and bars were shutdown to curb the spread of Coronavirus in the state.
Governor Nyesom Wike tweets, “Thank you Rivers people for your cooperation so far, Markets will be open again after a long time. After the security council meeting, we will announce a date for the reopening of our markets. As they open, let us please adhere to safety guidelines from the NCDC.”
