The Governor of Lagos State, Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu gets automatic endorsement of Governance Advisory Council (GAC) to vie for second term in office. It was disclosed that the seal of approval happened at a meeting held at the State House in Marina.
According to a source from GAC; “Unlike when there was a controversy and division during the tenure of Governor Babatunde Fashola, Sanwo-Olu was unanimously endorsed by all GAC members and he had been asked to start preparations for his re-election,” the source disclosed.
Apparently, the Governor is yet to pick his nomination form for the election because he is still waiting for the official endorsement by the party chieftains.
