Billionaire tech mogul Elon Musk has publicly called for the impeachment of U.S. President Donald Trump.
Musk, who has clashed with Trump over recent political and economic policies, went further by suggesting Vice President J.D. Vance as a suitable replacement.
This latest outburst unfolded on social media, where Musk simply responded “Yes” to a direct call for Trump’s impeachment.
That one-word reply, though short, has sent political shockwaves throughout Washington and beyond.
Musk’s bold stance comes at a time when tensions between the tech giant and the former president are intensifying.
The root of the feud lies in Trump’s proposed economic plan, particularly his aggressive tariff strategy.
“The Trump tariffs will cause a recession in the second half of this year,” Musk wrote on X, his social media platform.
Furthermore, Musk escalated matters by claiming that Trump is “in the Epstein files.”

The comment has stirred widespread speculation and intensified scrutiny, especially given the sensitive nature of the Epstein case.
No evidence has been provided to support Musk’s claim, but it has amplified the public drama between the two figures.
In retaliation, Trump allegedly threatened to terminate all federal contracts awarded to Musk’s companies.
These include major government deals with SpaceX, especially NASA-related missions such as sending astronauts and supplies to the International Space Station.
According to insiders, Trump also claimed credit for Musk’s exit from Washington, dismissing him as “CRAZY!”
Meanwhile, the controversy deepened with a sharp attack from Trump ally and former White House strategist Steve Bannon.
On his show “Bannon’s War Room,” he didn’t mince words.

“They should initiate a formal investigation of his immigration status because I am of the strong belief that he is an illegal alien, and he should be deported from the country immediately,” Bannon told The New York Times.
He added, “Elon Musk is illegal, and he’s got to go. He’s illegal? Deport immediately.”
Bannon further linked Musk’s reported drug use as another reason to investigate and potentially remove him from the country.
“The drug thing is going to be investigated,” he said, referring to recent allegations about Musk’s use of ketamine.
Musk’s threat to pull SpaceX’s work with NASA adds yet another layer of drama to the political standoff.
If he follows through, it could affect national space exploration plans and create ripple effects in the tech and defense industries.
