A chieftain of All Progressives Congress, APC in Rivers State who represented Asari-Toru and Akuku-Toru federal Constituency in the House of Representative from 2011 to 2015,Dr Dawari George has resigned from the party.
Dawari George,was the Chairman Peace and Reconciliation Committee of Rivers APC and a diehard ally of Rotimi Amaechi, former Minister of Transportation and a leader of the party in the state until his resignation.
He was known as a commissioner for Energy and Natural Resources during Amaechi’s administration as governor of Rivers State and one of the governorship aspirants who lost out when the 19 leaders of the party adopted Tonye Cole as the consensus candidate of APC for Rivers 2019 governorship election.

The letter was given to the Chairman,APC ward 1 in Asari -Toru local government area , Rivers,River State.
