Popular Manchester United and Portugal forward, Cristiano Ronaldo breaks record yet again as the number of people following him on Instagram hits over 500 million being the first to achieve the feat.
The hit record comes after a photo of him and the popular PSG player, Lionel Messi went viral immediately on Saturday as he and Lionel Messi posed together on a chessboard .The latest record by Ronaldo did not really come as a surprise. The Portuguese star has been so much in the news lately.
The Portuguese forward became the most followed person on Instagram when he reached 237 million followers in September 2021. February 2022, he reached 400 million, and in just 9 months after, Ronaldo created another record . 
Ronaldo’s Twitter post about the same has gathered more than 1.6 million likes.While Ronaldo remains the most followed person on the app, his long-time rival Messi remains the second-most followed with 376M. The G.O.A.Ts are the only athletes in the top 10 of the most followed people on Instagram.
