The Minister of Health Prof Akin Abayomi, in a tweet via his Twitter account on Thursday confirmed the rising case of Covid 19 as toll rises to 2970 in Lagos State.
Prof Akin Abayomi tweeted: “COVID19 Lagos Update as at 20th of May, 2020.
“Cheering megaphone 199 new #COVID9 infection cases were confirmed in Lagos.
“The new cases bring the number of confirmed #COVID19 infections in Lagos to 2970.
He added: “Additional 17 fully recovered #COVID19 patients; 6 females and 11 males were discharged.”
According to NCDC the total number of Covid 19 confirmed cases in Nigeria is 6677
