A routine flight from Asaba to Lagos took a shocking turn this morning when social critics Very Dark Man (VDM) and Mr Jollof got into a heated physical fight onboard a United Nigeria aircraft.
Many passengers described the moment as unexpected and unsettling, especially as both men are known for their long-running feud.
Moreover, the confrontation quickly became the center of attention before the aircraft could take off.
Comedian FunnyBone, who was on board, tried to separate the two men as the altercation grew louder and more aggressive.
However, his efforts were not enough to calm the situation.
The scene forced airline staff to intervene, and both men were eventually unboarded to restore peace.
In a video shared shortly after the incident, VDM gave his own account of what happened.
He said, “I don chop Jollof fada for inside plane. Man when dey bite. E nor shame, e dey bite. Man when dey bite. I be@t…dem dey beg…dem dey help am. I enter plane, I see am naim I tell am say today you go slap me oo…I go near and naim e punch me…when I follow am, e start to bite me…him eye red.”
His description suggested that the fight intensified after he approached Mr Jollof about comments made in the past.
Meanwhile, other passengers later shared that tension began as soon as VDM noticed Mr Jollof seated on the plane.
In addition, witnesses said the verbal exchange quickly escalated, leaving many people confused about what triggered the first punch.
Furthermore, airline officials worked swiftly to de-escalate the situation.
The aircraft eventually continued its journey after the matter was settled. Several passengers said they were relieved after normalcy was restored.
The feud between the two critics has been public, with both men trading words over the past months.
However, no one expected the disagreement to reach such a level onboard a commercial flight.
Moreover, with many people recording portions of the incident, clips have already spread across social media platforms, drawing reactions from fans and critics.
