Cardi B Clashes With Homeland Security Over ICE Comments

A heated online exchange has erupted between Cardi B and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. The drama began as Cardi B kicked off her “Little Miss Drama” tour in California’s Coachella Valley.

However, what was meant to be a high-energy show quickly turned into a political flashpoint.

During her performance at Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert on February 11, Cardi B addressed the crowd about ICE agents. A video shared on social media captured her bold remarks.

“I got some bear mace in the back. It’s like the mafia in this,” she told the audience. She also suggested that fans would “jump” ICE agents if they appeared at her show.

The comments did not go unnoticed. Shortly after, Homeland Security responded publicly on X, formerly known as Twitter.

The department referenced a 2019 Instagram livestream in which Cardi B admitted to drugging and robbing strip-club customers earlier in her life.

“As long as she doesn’t drug and rob our agents, we’ll consider that an improvement over her past behavior,” Homeland Security wrote on X Thursday, Feb. 12.

The response escalated the situation further. Cardi B quickly fired back online, shifting attention to the ongoing release of documents linked to Jeffrey Epstein.

“If we talking about drugs, let’s talk about Epstein and friends drugging underage girls to r@pe them. Why y’all don’t wanna talk about the Epstein files?” she wrote.

Meanwhile, discussions around the Epstein case have resurfaced. According to a New York Times review published February 1, President Donald Trump’s name and references to his Mar-a-Lago resort appear thousands of times in recently released Justice Department files.

However, several of the documents were reported to be duplicates.

The exchange highlights how celebrity statements can quickly become political flashpoints. Furthermore, social media has turned such disputes into instant national conversations.

Supporters of Cardi B argue that she was exercising free speech. Critics, however, say public figures should avoid statements that may appear to encourage confrontation.

The Cardi B Homeland Security clash also highlights the growing tension surrounding U.S. immigration policy and ICE operations. Immigration remains a major political issue as enforcement efforts continue nationwide.
