President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd.), is currently meeting with the Speaker, House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila and the Deputy Speaker of the House, Ahmed Wase, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja concerning the 7 months ongoing strike as the meeting started at 3:00 pm .
According to a source , the lawmakers are scheduled to present to Buhari their recommendations from meetings they had with stakeholders on strike , which Gbajabiamila disclosed that the report would reflect their interactions on the FG-ASUU face-off and provide recommendations to enable the President to assess the situation from an informed second option.
