A Toyota Corolla (BWR 420 EY) and a truck collided at the Kubwa Expressway near popular ‘charlie boy’ bus stop involving four persons on board, all survivors .Two occupants in the Toyota Corolla,two in the Truck on Saturday.
The two vehicles collided on the highway when the driver of the Toyota Corolla tried to reverse against the traffic in total violation of traffic rules.The driver of the tipper who was coming behind the Toyota run into the car and crushed it beyond recognition according to an eye witness.
The two occupants of the Toyota in the process sustained minor injuries and were rushed to the hospital for medical treatment.However, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Nigerian Police and rescue team made an attempt in rescuing the victims. Sympathizers and witnesses called on authorities in putting serious measures against reckless driving on the highway.
