A couple, Daniel idoko and Rose Idoko have been arraigned before Onojo Magistrate’s Court in Lagos State for allegedly stealing N2.2M from their neighbour.
The defendants aged 35 and 32, respectively appeared before the magistrate Mr Ademola Adesanya. They pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The Prosecutor, Dr Simeon Uche told the Court that the couple committed the offence in December 2021. According to the prosecutor, Daniel stole N560,000 from the complainant while Rose stole N1.68M from her, in contravention of section 9(b) of the criminal law of Lagos State 2015. 
The magistrate however granted the defendants bail in the sun of N500,000 each with two sureties each in like sum.
He adjourned the case until May 13 for mention.
