A Southern Nigerian Wrestler just signed for WWE

World Wrestling Entertainment have acquired a Nigerian from the Southern region of the country by name Edris Enofe, real name Inyene Umoh since late 2021 following the tryouts in Las Vegas during the SummerSlam period.

Apparently, Iyene Umoh is not the first Nigerin in the WWE, he has joined the likes of Babatunde Aiyegbusi, Sesugh Uhaa and Jordan Omogbehin on the current World Wrestling Entertainment roaster not forgetting E.J Nduka who worked with the WWE until last year.

Inyene Umoh is a Veteran in the United States Navy, WWE officially filed to trademark the name of company star “Edris Enofe,” debuted on the November 19th episode of 205 Live, with the United States Patent and Trademark Office for entertainment and merchandising purposes.

EDRIS ENOFÉ trademark registration is to cover the categories of entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service.

Iyene is currently fighting under the NXT 2.0 brand and has won some matches against Malik Blade, Von Wagner and Guru Raaj etc, to his credit.
