Nollywood actress Mo Bimpe has opened up about a painful period when she was trying to have a child.
The actress revealed that some people stopped inviting her to events involving children during that period.
She shared the experience after attending Iyabo Ojo’s grandson Rakeem’s first birthday celebration.
According to Bimpe, she noticed her invitations to baby showers and naming ceremonies suddenly stopped.
She later discovered that some acquaintances had deliberately excluded her because she did not have children.
The actress said the discovery deeply hurt her during an already difficult period.
She explained that trying to conceive came with waiting, questions, hurtful comments and silent prayers.
Bimpe urged people to show kindness instead of excluding women facing fertility challenges.
She wrote, “Please don’t make it harder by excluding people. A woman without a child is not less deserving of love, friendship, inclusion, or celebration.”
The actress also urged people to remember that smiles may hide personal struggles.
“You never truly know what someone is carrying behind their smile,” she added.
Now a mother of triplets, Bimpe said her experience has changed the way she views fertility struggles.
She shared her story to encourage women currently going through the TTC journey.
“And to every TTC woman reading this today, I want you to know that your story is not over.”
Bimpe recalled that there was once a time when she had no child.
“Today, I am a mother of triplets. The same God who remembered me has not forgotten you.”
She encouraged women not to lose hope during difficult moments.
“If there is one thing my life has taught me, it is that God can change a story faster than anyone expects.”
Bimpe ended by sending love and prayers to women still waiting for their own testimonies.
