According to police, Rahul Khosla, a resident of Sector 3 Housing Board Colony, left home on Sunday morning after meeting his mother before heading to his garment shop, which he had opened about four months earlier.

However, concern grew after his brother, Amit, noticed a video Rahul had uploaded to Instagram earlier that day.

The family immediately rushed to the shop. They reportedly found it locked from the inside. After forcing the entrance open, Rahul was found dead inside.

Police officers arrived at the scene shortly afterward. The body was recovered and taken to BK Civil Hospital for a post-mortem examination.

Before his death, Rahul recorded a video in which he accused his wife, identified as Jyoti, also known as Preeti, and several members of her family of repeatedly abusing him.

“I sweep, mop, clean utensils, yet they harass and assault me,” Rahul said in the recording.

He also alleged that he was physically assaulted despite carrying out household chores. Furthermore, he claimed he had been under severe emotional pressure during the marriage.

According to Rahul, his wife wanted them to live separately from his parents. He further alleged that she had filed a false assault complaint against him only two days before the incident.

In his final recorded message, Rahul requested that legal action be taken against his wife, his mother-in-law, Veena, his father-in-law, Bittu, and his sister-in-law, Neetu.

He also stated that his personal property should pass to his mother, siblings, and other close family members.

Meanwhile, based on a complaint filed by Rahul’s relatives and the contents of the video, Sector 3 Police registered a case against the named individuals.

Investigating officer Ajeet Singh confirmed that officers have begun a detailed investigation into the allegations.

Authorities stated that all claims made in the video are being carefully verified before any conclusions are drawn.

Moreover, the case has generated widespread reactions online, with many social media users calling for equal attention to male victims of domestic abuse.

One user, identified as @onyxhair_bynellyng, wrote, “Men deserve to get justice too.”

Another commenter, @dr_alwaysrozy, stated, “A man has every right to speak up when he is being abused. When society laughs at male victims or ignores their pain, tragedies like this happen. Abuse has no gender.”

In addition, another social media user, @sue_onyanta, expressed sympathy while encouraging people facing similar situations to seek another path rather than losing hope.

However, investigators have not confirmed the allegations made in Rahul’s video. The registered case remains under active investigation, and authorities are expected to determine the facts through the legal process.
