Trump Issues Explosive Warning to Iran Over Assassination Threats

A sharp warning has been issued by US President Donald Trump following renewed threats against his life allegedly aired on Iranian state television.

The comments, which have sparked fresh global attention, came during an interview that touched on security, diplomacy, and rising tensions between Washington and Tehran.

Trump made the remarks while speaking with NewNation’s Katie Pavlich, shortly after Iranian state television reportedly broadcast footage from the July 13, 2024 rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

That rally was the site of an assassination attempt where Trump narrowly escaped death.

The broadcast allegedly carried the message, “this time it won’t miss,” a statement that raised alarm within US political circles.

Reacting strongly, Trump said Iran should reconsider its actions. “Well, they shouldn’t be doing it, but I’ve left notification,” he said. He then added, “Anything ever happens, we’re going to blow  the whole country is going to get blown up.”

Moreover, Trump blamed former President Joe Biden for what he described as weak responses to repeated threats from Iran.

According to him, stronger warnings should have been issued earlier. “Biden should have said something… Because he didn’t,” Trump stated. He argued that firm action often prevents escalation.

The tension has deep roots. Iran’s leadership has remained hostile since the January 2020 killing of Qasem Soleimani, a senior Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps commander.

In addition, former National Security Adviser John Bolton has also faced alleged Iranian assassination plots, highlighting a pattern of threats.

Meanwhile, unrest inside Iran has continued. Reports indicate that protests over economic hardship have turned deadly.

An Iranian official told Reuters that at least 5,000 people have died. Therefore, global concern has grown over human rights and stability in the region.

Trump claimed decisive action had already influenced events. “We let them know if that happens, that will be a very bad day for them,” he said, referring to alleged plans to execute hundreds of protesters.

However, uncertainty remains. “So we’re just gonna have to see what happens with Iran,” Trump concluded.
