Fans of Power Book II: Ghost were left shocked after actress and singer Alix Lapri was arrested in DeKalb County last week.
Lapri, whose full name is Alexus Lapri Geier, was taken into custody on charges of disorderly conduct and cruelty to children in the third degree.
According to online jail records, she was booked and spent just over 24 hours behind bars before being released.
The arrest came as a surprise to many of her followers, especially given her rising career in both music and acting.
Lapri is widely recognized for her portrayal of Effie Morales on the hit Starz series Power and its spin-off Power Book II: Ghost.
A local source confirmed her charges, though details of the alleged incident have not yet been released.
The case has sparked widespread discussion online, with many fans expressing disbelief at the situation.

Lapri’s career began more than a decade ago. In 2011, she signed with Crown World Entertainment and collaborated with fellow artist Jacob Latimore.
The duo released several song covers, including a rendition of Usher and Alicia Keys’ classic “My Boo,” which earned positive feedback from fans.
The following year, she released her debut extended play (EP), I Am Alix Lapri.
According to her Wikipedia page, the project was offered free for download across various platforms and was praised by different audience groups.
Moreover, Lapri gradually transitioned into acting. She landed roles in films and television, including working alongside Gerard Butler and 50 Cent in the action film Den of Thieves.
However, it was her role in Power that cemented her as a household name.
Meanwhile, the news of her arrest has dominated social media, with many questioning how it might affect her career.
