Tensions in the Middle East hit a boiling point late Monday as U.S. President Donald Trump issued a dramatic evacuation warning to the people of Tehran.
His message followed Israel’s own advisory and raised global concern over the escalating conflict between Israel and Iran, now entering its fifth day.
Trump took to his Truth Social platform, declaring, “Everyone should immediately evacuate Tehran!” He warned that Iran’s refusal to follow diplomatic solutions had led to unnecessary loss of life.
“Iran should have signed the ‘deal’ I told them to sign. What a shame, and waste of human life… IRAN CAN NOT HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON,” he stated.

The urgent call for evacuation was triggered by ongoing missile strikes and direct threats between both nations.
The evacuation area in Tehran includes about 330,000 people, housing Iran’s state TV station, police headquarters, and several hospitals, one of which is managed by the paramilitary Revolutionary Guard.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed that the president would be leaving the G7 summit early.
According to her, Trump was returning to Washington to hold urgent talks with national security advisers on the Israel-Iran conflict.
Meanwhile, Iranian officials dismissed the evacuation call, labeling it “psychological warfare.”
Their response did little to calm growing fears as images of smoke rising from areas in Tehran spread across international media.
In response to the heightened tensions, G7 leaders released a joint statement late Monday night.
Interestingly, President Trump who initially did not plan to sign ultimately added his signature to the document.

The statement emphasized, “Israel has a right to defend itself. We reiterate our support for the security of Israel.”
Furthermore, the statement addressed Iran’s role in the crisis, saying, “Iran is the principal source of regional instability and terror… Iran can never have a nuclear weapon.”
The G7 also called for the protection of civilians and urged for a path toward de-escalation in the Middle East, including a ceasefire in Gaza.
Trump’s words have not only raised alarm but also triggered debates over whether the crisis could lead to a wider regional war.
