The health condition of former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro has taken a critical turn following a recent surgery.
His medical team confirmed he is now under intensive care due to signs of “clinical deterioration.”
Bolsonaro is currently receiving treatment at DF Star Hospital in Brasília.

Despite his deteriorating health, Bolsonaro managed to post an update on Tuesday.
In a photo shared from his hospital bed, he gave a thumbs-up and wrote, “Thank you for your prayers and support.”
Doctors have indicated that he will remain in the intensive care unit for now.
“Motor physiotherapy and preventive measures against venous thrombosis will continue,” the statement added.
