Joy Mojisola Raimi, a 24-year-old graduate from the University of Port Harcourt, has officially been crowned Miss World Nigeria 2025.
Representing Osun State, Raimi clinched the coveted title during the grand finale held at the Federal Palace Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos.
The announcement was made by Silverbird Group founder, Ben Murray-Bruce, who took to X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday to congratulate the new beauty queen.
“Congratulations to Joy Mojisola Raimi, the 24-year-old representing Osun State, on being crowned Miss World Nigeria 2025!” Ben Murray-Bruce wrote in his post, signaling the beginning of her journey as a national beauty ambassador.
A Total of 37 contestants from across the country competed fiercely for the title, but it was Raimi’s poise, intelligence, and dedication to humanitarian causes that made her stand out.
In addition to her beauty and grace, Raimi is the founder of The Love for Humanity project, an initiative focused on spreading compassion and restoring hope in communities.
This achievement, however, didn’t come easily.

Raimi’s journey to the crown was shaped by personal struggles, including a difficult childhood.
“She emphasized that despite being told she would never amount to anything, she has proven otherwise by achieving this milestone,” said Ben Murray-Bruce, reflecting on Raimi’s resilience.
During the final round, Raimi competed against Miss Imo, Miss Ebonyi, Miss Abuja, and Miss Abia.
When asked about her overcoming challenges, Raimi shared a powerful story about growing up without a mother and facing emotional abuse from her caregiver.
She recalled how, despite being constantly told she would never succeed, she kept pushing forward, showing that perseverance could overcome even the harshest obstacles.

This victory represents not just a personal achievement for Raimi, but also an opportunity to showcase her strengths to a global audience.
As Miss World Nigeria 2025, Raimi is now preparing for the 72nd Miss World pageant, which will take place in Hyderabad, India, from May 7 to 31.
She will join over 140 contestants from around the world to compete for the prestigious global crown.
Moreover, the opportunity to represent Nigeria on the global stage comes at the perfect time for Raimi to expand her influence and make a significant impact.
Raimi’s journey from a difficult childhood to becoming the new face of Miss World Nigeria reflects the power of resilience, determination, and the desire to make a difference.
