President-elect Donald Trump plans to kickstart his term as the 47th President of the United States with an unprecedented wave of executive actions.

According to Fox News Digital, Trump will sign over 200 executive actions, including 50 legally binding executive orders, immediately after his inauguration on Monday, January 20.

The 78-year-old Republican, who defeated Democrat Kamala Harris in the November elections, is set to succeed incumbent President Joe Biden.

Trump’s senior adviser, Jason Miller, confirmed that the incoming administration is focused on fulfilling campaign promises swiftly, with many actions bundled into “omnibus” directives.

“This is a massive, record-setting, unmatched first wave,” an administration official told Fox News.

“This is the most extensive list of executive actions in American history, all guided by a relentless commitment to deliver on campaign promises.”

Among the orders, Trump will declare a national border emergency, effectively shutting down the southern US border.

Additionally, his controversial citizenship order, aimed at ending automatic citizenship for children of illegal migrants born in the US, will likely face legal challenges due to its potential violation of the 14th Amendment.

“On Day One of my new term in office, I will sign an executive order making clear… the future children of illegal aliens will not receive automatic US citizenship,” Trump stated in a 2023 video.

Trump’s initial actions also target domestic energy production and federal workforce policies.

He plans to halt offshore wind leases, end electric vehicle mandates introduced under the Biden administration, and withdraw from the Paris Climate Accord.

“Drill, baby, drill,” Trump famously declared on the campaign trail, underscoring his focus on domestic oil production.

The incoming administration will also introduce policies mandating that federal workers return to in-office work and warning that failure to comply could result in dismissal.

“This is about stopping corrupt, abusive behavior and refocusing the government on its fundamental duties to the American people,” a Trump official emphasized.

Another priority is addressing the Hunter Biden laptop scandal.

Trump intends to suspend the security clearances of 51 national security officials linked to the controversy.

Additionally, the administration plans to enforce policies that ensure federal workers serve only the American people, according to the official.

Trump’s aggressive start demonstrates a determination to reshape US policies across key areas, including energy, security, and immigration.

His actions, though likely to face scrutiny and opposition, signal a commitment to fulfilling campaign promises and implementing rapid change.
