Hollywood Mourns as Veteran Actor Art Evans Dies at 82

The entertainment industry is mourning the loss of veteran actor Art Evans, who passed away peacefully at the age of 82 following complications from diabetes.

He is known for his remarkable performances in films like Die Hard 2 and A Soldier’s Story. Evans left an indelible mark on Hollywood with over 120 acting credits spanning four decades.

Evans’ wife, Babe, paid tribute to his legacy, describing him as “an incredible actor but a devoted husband, friend, and source of light to everyone who knew him.”

She added, “His laughter, passion, and love of life will be deeply missed. While our hearts are heavy, we celebrate the legacy of joy and inspiration he leaves behind.”

Art Evans’ career included memorable roles in Leadbelly, Fright Night, and Tales from the Hood, as well as appearances in iconic TV series such as The X-Files, Walker Texas Ranger, and Everybody Hates Chris.

His legacy as an artist and mentor lives on through his work and his family, including his wife, Babe, and son, Ogadae.
