A 45-year-old man, identified as Alani Rasaq, tragically slumped and died on Tuesday, December 17, in front of a fuel station opposite the Fire Brigade office in Ifo, Ogun State.
The incident, which occurred around 3 PM, was reported to the Ifo Police Division by the fuel station manager, Segun Afolabi.
Police officers quickly responded, rushing Rasaq to the General Hospital, where doctors confirmed him dead.
Confirming the incident, Ogun State Police spokesperson SP Omolola Odutola disclosed that the body has been moved to the Ifo mortuary while an autopsy is underway.
While the exact cause of death remains unconfirmed, the incident serves as a stark reminder of the importance of prioritizing health amidst life’s demands.
