Six people have been killed in a recent attack at Mbagum community in Logo Local Government Area (LGA) of Benue State.
This was confirmed on Thursday, Makurdi by Special Adviser to Gov Samuel Ortom on Security, Lt. Col Paul Hemba (rtd).
The attacks occurred simultaneously on Wednesday night, around 9PM, in the two villages of Tse Valem Yaweh and Tse Ngojov in Mbagum.
The names of those murdered were Ander John, Morgan Varem, Vihior Mtomga, Saaior Uyoosu, Peter Asondo, and Aondoyima Tarbo. The injured include, Igbaule Valem, Mrs Terngu Tyavkase Usue, and Chiater Tarbo. While those wounded have been transferred to the hospital.
