A fresh controversy has erupted online as Nigerian activist VeryDarkMan publicly questioned Blessing CEO’s claims about her health condition.
The controversy gained attention after she initially claimed to be battling stage 4 cancer. Moreover, the shift in her narrative has left many asking questions.
During a live session with media personality Daddy Freeze, Blessing CEO clarified her earlier claims. She revealed that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer in Nigeria.
However, she admitted that she does not know the stage of the illness. In addition, she could not clearly state the total cost of her treatment.
Furthermore, she acknowledged that some details may have been exaggerated while seeking financial help for surgery. This admission has intensified scrutiny from the public.
Meanwhile, VeryDarkMan expressed concern over the unclear information surrounding her condition. He stressed that such details are important, especially when public donations are involved.
The activist revealed that he personally contributed money toward her treatment. Therefore, he questioned the accuracy of the claims made earlier.
“Blessing CEO, my money is in your account. All these things you are saying that you don’t know whether you are stage 4 or not. It now appears you defrauded the public, which is a very serious crime. I have been busy since, but when I am ready, you will refund my money. You will learn the hard way”.
Moreover, critics argue that unclear health claims can mislead the public, especially when financial support is requested. This has led to calls for transparency from influencers and public figures.
