Trump Warns: Ukraine May Not Survive War Even with US Aid

Donald Trump US President Donald Trump has suggested that Ukraine’s survival remains uncertain, even if Washington continues supporting Kyiv against Russia’s ongoing invasion.

When asked about a warning from Polish President Andrzej Duda that Ukraine “will not survive” without American support, Trump responded, “Well, it may not survive anyway.”

He further noted, “But we have some weaknesses with Russia. You know, it takes two.”

His remarks have intensified global concerns over the strained relationship between the US and Ukraine, a nation that has relied heavily on American and European support since Russia launched its full-scale invasion.

The US administration recently halted military aid and intelligence cooperation with Ukraine following a meeting between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on February 28.

The encounter reportedly ended in tension, prompting Trump to withhold assistance as leverage to push Kyiv toward peace talks with Russia.

According to sources, Trump remains firm in his stance that aid will not resume until Ukraine takes steps toward negotiation.

“The 78-year-old president reportedly wants the deal signed, but also wants to see a change in Zelenskyy’s attitude towards peace talks,” a report revealed.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Zelenskyy is set to visit Saudi Arabia for discussions with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

Simultaneously, Ukrainian diplomatic and military officials are expected to meet with a US delegation on Tuesday to address the crisis.

Despite international pressure, Trump has made it clear that Ukraine must consider diplomatic solutions rather than relying solely on military aid.
