President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Nigeria’s Super Falcons after their hard-fought 2-1 win over South Africa in the semi-final of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) on Tuesday.
The exciting victory, secured in Morocco, has now earned Nigeria a spot in the final.

The President, in a statement released shortly after the match, praised the team’s outstanding effort.
According to him, the result was not only “well deserved” but also “nothing short of superlative.”
“You have made the nation proud. Keep soaring. Don’t stop until you bring the trophy home,” Tinubu said.
