Tanzanian-Nigerian singer Juma Jux has revealed how a deeply spiritual journey led his wife, Priscilla Ojo, to convert to Islam.
In a candid talk with Afrik Media, he shared that guiding Priscilla through the faith transition required patience, prayer, and expert support from religious leaders.
“It was a little difficult convincing my wife to become a Muslim,”Juma admitted, explaining,
“I was receiving lessons from religious leaders who taught me the right way to approach it. With time, she understood.”
Their union, anchored in shared values, was celebrated in a lavish traditional wedding.
“I knew everything when it came to my wedding. I had a dream about it. I was so lucky to find someone who wants the same thing as I do,” Juma said, reflecting on that special day.
In addition to discussing faith, Juma praised Priscilla’s unwavering support behind the scenes of his music video God Design.
He described her as “the best wife”, highlighting how she helped bring his artistic vision to life demonstrating that their partnership goes beyond the personal into creative collaboration.

Meanwhile, the couple has also shown warmth toward both sides of their blended family.
Juma extended a caring message to Priscilla’s mother, Nollywood star Iyabo Ojo, and her ex-husband, promising to “take care of” them and inviting them to Tanzania once they start a family.
This gesture was warmly received, adding another layer of unity in their upcoming chapters.
Furthermore, on Priscilla’s 24th birthday in March, Juma shared a sweet tribute: “Since you came into my life, everything started making sense.”
His words reflect the depth of their bond and the transformative role she plays in his life.
This inspirational story highlights not only a personal journey of faith but also how love, respect, and understanding can lead to profound life changes.
