Multi-award-winning Nollywood actress and producer Ruth Kadiri has finally broken her silence on claims that she hides her husband, Mr Ezerika, from the public eye.
In a candid chat on the Dear Ife podcast by Diary of a Naija Girl, Kadiri addressed lingering rumours and clarified her family’s visibility.
The actress straightforwardly dismissed the notion of secrecy, stating,
“For clarity, my husband is not a secret. People who know me, know him. And for me, that’s enough. Like, I don’t know why I will sit down and be thinking, what am I proving?”

Kadiri further explained that her husband is indeed part of her public life, though he prefers maintaining a low profile.
“Do you know that we go to church together, we go to events together, they post his picture, it’s just cause you don’t know him, my life is not as private as people think…” she said.
Kadiri clarified that Mr Ezerika does accompany her to publicly-covered functions like church and red carpets.
Although his social media feeds focus on religious content rather than selfies or family posts, his presence at events is undeniable.

“Most events I organize, my husband is there, and if you go on his social media, you would only be seeing word of God, so he’s not even posting his own pictures.”
The couple, married since 2019, are parents to two daughters.
Despite Kadiri’s high-profile career, she has consistently kept their children’s lives away from public scrutiny, sharing only occasional glimpses.
Kadiri’s transparency thoughtful by stating plainly that her spouse is not hidden, she rejects the notion that celebrity living demands constant public sharing.
