Ronaldo Signs Record-Breaking Al-Nassr Deal Worth Over £500m

Cristiano Ronaldo has just made sporting history again this time off the pitch.

The Portuguese superstar has signed a new two-year contract with Saudi club Al-Nassr, reportedly worth an eye-popping £492 million.

The new deal will reportedly earn Ronaldo around £488,000 every single day, a figure that’s hard to ignore even by football’s high standards.

The move not only ensures his stay in Saudi Arabia until after his 42nd birthday but also confirms that his legacy continues to grow beyond goals alone.

“A new chapter begins. Same passion, same dream. Let’s make history together,” Ronaldo wrote on X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday, confirming the new deal.

According to a report by The Sun, Ronaldo’s deal includes perks that take his overall earnings past the £500 million mark over the next two years.

In addition to his base salary, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner is set to receive a £24.5 million signing bonus, which could increase to £38 million if he activates the second year of the agreement.

Moreover, the report mentions that the former Real Madrid and Manchester United forward has been handed a 15% ownership stake in Al-Nassr, currently valued at £33 million.

With performance bonuses for securing the Saudi Pro League title and finishing as top scorer, Ronaldo’s earnings could climb even higher.

This development is being hailed as a huge win not only for the player but also for the Saudi Pro League.

The contract reportedly includes provisions for Ronaldo’s comfort and security.

His family will be supported by 16 full-time staff members, including drivers, chefs, housekeepers, gardeners, and security personnel.

The cost of this luxury setup is estimated at £1.4 million, covered entirely by Al-Nassr.

Furthermore, the deal includes a role as a “dream ambassador” for the Gulf State, a title that could bring in additional earnings and extend Ronaldo’s influence well beyond football.

Despite turning 39, Ronaldo shows no signs of slowing down.

He scored 35 goals in 41 games last season, making him the Saudi Pro League’s top scorer for the second straight year.

In total, he has now netted 99 goals in 111 appearances for Al-Nassr.

The legendary forward is edging closer to his lifetime goal of scoring 1,000 career goals, with his current tally standing at 938.

Cristiano Ronaldo remains one of the most searched and followed names in football.
